Lucid Group and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ) have signed a MoU to enhance Saudi’s EV infrastructure. This strategic collaboration aims to accelerate EV adoption by developing high-speed public charging systems. It’s quite simple, the more charging stations there are, the more people will feel comfortable to owning an EV!

The MoU marks a key partnership focusing on leveraging their combined expertise to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a leader in EV technology. Lucid’s fast-charging Air model and EVIQ’s advanced charging stations will provide Lucid customers with a robust high-speed charging network.

Addressing Key Challenges

Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director for the Middle East at Lucid, stated, “This collaboration addresses a primary barrier to mass EV adoption—reliable charging infrastructure.”

EVIQ’s CEO, Mohammad Bakr Gazzaz, added, “Our mission is to provide top-tier EV chargers and technologies, empowering drivers in Saudi Arabia to confidently use EVs. This partnership is a significant step towards a national network of fast-charging locations by 2030, supporting the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030.”
