The UAE, being the test bed for introducing EVs in to the Middle East will now be home to Vietnamese (not a typo) VinFast Auto making them the exclusive dealer for VinFast vehicles in the Emirates.
Al Tayer Motors is setting up a network of facilities across the country to bring you the latest from VinFast. The first facility is slated to open later this year, and it will showcase four of VinFast’s electric SUVs: the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9. And this is just the beginning, with more models to follow soon.
At first glance, the Vinfast looks like a Renault had Citroen’s love child.
This move is part of Al Tayer Motors’ strategy to diversify its offerings and support the UAE’s aim to have 50% of all vehicles on the road be electric by 2050.
